Effective September 12, 2026 (updated October 15, 2026). Egregor publishes price estimates built from reader- and device-submitted data. It is information, not a transaction, and not advice. You must be 18 or older to register. Submitting a reading gives Egregor a license to publish it; paid subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You may not reverse engineer the service or scrape its outputs. The full terms follow.
Egregor ("Egregor," "we," "us") operates this service at egregormap.com, currently as a sole proprietorship run by an individual operator. If Egregor is later operated through a formed entity, this section will name it and this page will say so.
Egregor publishes statistical price estimates and related conditions, built from readings contributed by people and automated sensors, and arithmetic ("routes") performed on those estimates. It is information, not a transaction: nothing on this site is an offer, quotation, or commitment by any merchant, landlord, or agent named on it. Every number shown is labeled "Egregor price" and is Egregor's own estimate, made from those readings; it is never a price advertised, quoted, or endorsed by any store, landlord, or agent named beside it.
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, tax, or real-estate advice. Estimates carry uncertainty and may be wrong, stale, or absent; Egregor does not guarantee that any price, rent, or route estimate is accurate or current. Verify a price with the seller before you act on it. Routes do not account for your taxes, permits, licenses, or the legality of resale where you are. Egregor’s price index and purchasing-power figures measure what our own basket of items costs; they are not official statistics or forecasts, and may not be used as a benchmark or reference in any financial instrument, contract, or fund without our written license.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account or hold a paid subscription.
By submitting a reading (a price, a SKU or scanned barcode string, a location and its accuracy, or a device reading) you grant Egregor a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, publish, and redistribute it as data. You represent that what you submit is your own observation, made honestly. We may remove a reading or suspend an account for readings we judge false or manipulated.
Photos. When you attach a photo to a reading (a price tag or a shelf) you confirm that you took it yourself, that you had the right to take it where you did, and that it shows no person's face, no vehicle plate, and no payment card or account number. You grant Egregor the same license as for the reading, plus the right to crop, downscale, and run text recognition on it. A photo you submit is held for review before anyone else can see it; once reviewed, Egregor shows at most one picture per item, chosen by a person. A photo that is not chosen for display, or that is rejected, is not published, and we remove it, except where we must briefly keep it to respond to a legal request. Anyone may report a photo that is shown, or ask us to take it down at takedown@egregormap.com naming the item and the store; a report or a takedown request is honored within seven days, and the reading it supported stays, without the photo. Do not upload a photo you would not want a stranger to see. We may end your right to upload, and may archive your account, for a serious or repeated violation of this paragraph.
Receipts. When you paste, photograph, or share receipt text with Egregor to post readings from it, we read it to build the list of lines you confirm, and keep nothing else: the receipt text and any receipt image are not stored once you confirm your lines, or after 24 hours if you never confirm them. Before your confirmed lines are kept, we strip any card or account number, cardholder or cashier name, loyalty ID, and any phone number or email address shown; what we keep is the store, its address, the date and time, the item lines, and the tax and total. By submitting a receipt you confirm it is yours to share — one you received or were given, not someone else’s private document. A price read from a receipt is a record of what was charged there at that time, not a claim about the store’s price today. If what you send appears to include a full card number or another sensitive account number, we refuse it and store nothing from it; send it again with that number covered.
Seller feeds. If you register as an organization and connect a listing feed, file, or URL, the listings remain yours — you keep ownership of that data. By connecting it you grant Egregor the same license as for a reading, to publish your listings as prices and places on the map. You may end the feed at any time; a listing you remove, or one you ask us to take down at takedown@egregormap.com naming the listing, is removed within seven days.
Egregor keeps up to five years of history for every item and place. A reading you submit yourself is kept in full for that entire five years; a reading taken automatically by a device or sensor is kept in full only until it has been checked into the place's running history, after which it is deleted, and in either case no individual reading is kept past five years. An account that is dormant for 12 months is archived and its handle released after notice. You may ask us to delete your account and its personal data at any time, including any of your own readings still held; see the Privacy Policy, "Your rights."
Paid tiers are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe); Egregor never receives or stores your card number. Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price for your tier until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page; cancellation stops future billing but takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and we do not provide prorated refunds for the remainder of a paid period. Changing your plan takes effect immediately; the price difference is prorated on your next invoice, and a downgrade is prorated the same way. We may issue a refund at our discretion (always where the fault is ours), and beyond that we may do so as a courtesy within the first seven days of a new subscription. Prices are shown exclusive of tax; tax may be added at checkout based on your location. If you live in Mexico, you are charged in US dollars by Egregor's US operator, and the price we show you is the total you pay; nothing is added at checkout.
Founding sellers. If you signed up as a founding seller while that offer was open, Price Edge costs you US$39 a month, billed monthly from your first day and renewing automatically each month until you cancel; later sellers pay the list price shown on the pricing page. "Locked for life" means this: as long as your founding subscription stays continuously active, we will not raise its US$39 monthly price, even if the list price rises. The lock is personal to your account and the store it was bought for; it ends if you cancel, if a payment fails and is not fixed within the grace period shown in your account, or if we close your account for a breach of these terms, and it does not come back if you subscribe again later. Taxes are not part of the locked price and may change with the law. The lock covers the price, not a fixed feature set: Price Edge may gain or change features as it does for everyone on that plan. You may ask for a full refund of your first payment within 14 days of making it, at questions@egregormap.com, for any reason; after that, the cancellation and refund rules above apply. Cancel any time online from your account page.
Passes. A pass (a Hunt pass, a Route pass) is a single purchase for the period it names; it does not renew and nothing is charged again. If a pass does not deliver what its page promised, we refund it in full; you may also ask within 48 hours of buying it for a full refund if you have not yet opened its sheet or export, at questions@egregormap.com. If you are in the EU or the UK, you ask us to start the pass at once and accept that your right to withdraw ends when it starts. A landed-cost figure (a Route pass, the route card, a Corridor add-on) uses published duty, tax and fee rates, each dated and sourced, and Egregor price estimates for the rest. It is an estimate, not customs or tax advice: your goods' classification, origin and value decide what you owe; confirm with a licensed customs broker before you ship.
Credits, badges, ranks, and rewards such as trader-days are earned by contributing evidence (a receipt counts once, whoever adds it); they have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for money, expire as shown in the product, and may be withdrawn if earned by fraud, duplicate accounts, or a breach of these terms. No purchase is needed and no reward depends on chance. Play safely: stay in public areas, follow each place's rules and leave if asked, never enter private property or a place outside its open hours, and never use the service while driving. You are responsible for where you go. A place's owner may ask us to remove it from play at takedown@egregormap.com.
You may give up to 7 days of a paid tier from your own credits to someone who has never paid for Egregor, once every 30 days. The days come out of your balance and count toward your own credit limits. A gift is free to receive, needs no card, starts when the recipient redeems it within 30 days, and ends on its own: it never turns into a paid subscription unless the recipient later chooses one at checkout. A gift has no cash value and is not a gift card or a stored-value product; it cannot be sold, bought, traded or redeemed for money, and a gift link offered for sale is void. If the recipient pays for a plan and keeps it past its refund window into a second paid month, you may earn bonus days as shown in the product, if you hold a paid plan yourself or have been an active contributor as the product describes. Bonus days are credits under 7a. We may withhold or withdraw gifts and bonus days given to yourself, to accounts you control, or earned by fraud, and we check accounts, payment methods and devices to find that. If you share your gift link publicly, say that you may earn bonus days when people use it (for example "#referral" or "I earn a bonus if you subscribe").
Some readings are gathered from public web sources by Egregor directly; we do not access pages that disallow it by robots.txt or that require a login we do not hold.
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, underlying models, coefficients, or methodology of the service; scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service by automated means outside an API we expressly provide for that purpose, or resell, sublicense, or redistribute data so obtained; use the service's outputs to build, train, or improve a competing product; circumvent rate limits or access controls; or access the service using credentials you are not authorized to use. We may suspend or terminate access, and pursue any other remedy available to us, for a violation of this section. You may not use an item request, a place suggestion, the suggestion box, your account handle, or any other free-text field to ask about, describe, or promote weapons, controlled substances, another person or their personal data, stolen or counterfeit goods, or sexual services; such a submission is refused and nothing from it is stored. Repeated abusive or bad-faith suggestions close the suggestion box for your account (nothing else about your access changes); this is separate from, and does not require, suspending the account under this section.
A data export made available under an enterprise tier is licensed, not sold: for the licensee's internal use only; no resale, sublicensing, or redistribution; no attempt to re-identify an individual contributor or device from the data; any watermark or export notice we embed must not be removed; cells representing fewer than three distinct contributing sources are suppressed, and device-type segments are provided only for device-read observables. An export is never built by filtering or cutting the data to one contributor, account, or device — only geographic, category, and time segments are offered; below the contract tier named for it, an export carries summary price estimates only, quantized to the published bands, never the underlying model values, grids, or individual readings behind them. We may terminate an export license for breach of these terms. This data is aggregate statistical output; provided the floor above holds, we do not treat it as personal data of any individual under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA, but a licensee combining it with other data it holds is responsible for its own compliance assessment.
Accepting the export license. The license in this section is accepted by checking the box at Enterprise checkout that links to this section; no separate signed contract is required. We record the account, the time of acceptance, and the version of these Terms accepted, and exports run only for an account that has accepted. The person who checks the box confirms they may bind the business that holds the account. A later version of this section applies to exports made after we notify you of it and you accept it at your next export; until then the version you accepted governs.
API and AI-agent access. The Free, Developer, Desk, and Enterprise plans include a key to our API and our MCP server (a connection for AI assistants), with the calls each plan includes as shown on the pricing page. Access is read-only. On the Free plan, calls past the included amount are refused, never billed. On a paid plan, calls past the included amount are billed at the per-1,000 rate shown on the pricing page and on your account page when you take the key, and are added to your next invoice; your account page shows the calls used so far this month. An agent, assistant, or program using your key acts for you: you are responsible for what it requests and what it does with the answers, and this section applies to anything it stores or passes on exactly as if you had done so yourself. Keep your key secret; we may rotate or revoke a key shared outside your account or used beyond its rate limits.
Product names, logos, and store names that appear on the site belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify the item or place a reading concerns; their appearance does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by them. A brand or store name is shown as plain text only, never as a reproduced logo or trade dress; every price shown beside it is an observation of what was asked or paid at a place and a time, never represented as that brand's or store's own price, offer, or endorsement. A trademark owner may ask us to stop naming a mark, or to correct a misattributed reading, at takedown@egregormap.com; we act on such a request within seven days.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Egregor is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or your reliance on any estimate it publishes; our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware. If you live in Mexico, nothing in these terms takes away a right the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor gives you, and you may bring a complaint before PROFECO or a claim in the courts where you live.
Our collection and use of your data, including location and device data, is described in the Privacy Policy at /privacy.
We may update these terms; continued use after a posted change is acceptance of it.
These terms may be offered to you in a translation for convenience. The English text is the one we rely on and the one that controls if a translation and the English text ever disagree.
